Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your personal driver/guide for your exclusive journey south by private vehicle to Whittier. Along the way, stop in at the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, a non-profit that focuses on rescuing and rehabilitating the wildlife of Alaska. Get a personal tour of the facility and up close with a moose while learning about their lifestyle and time at the Center.
The small town of Whittier is accessible via the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel – the longest highway tunnel in North America at 2.5 miles. The one-lane tunnel operates on a schedule allowing vehicles – and the Alaska Railroad – to share the tunnel at various times. Arrive in Whittier where you will meet the crew of the M/V Sea Star and embark on a cruise through Prince William Sound.
The 95-foot yacht will be your home for the next four nights. Get acquainted with your Captain and crew before settling in and taking in the view of the passing mountains as you make your way to Ester Passage.
